Description
So, Megacon 2012 was this past weekend and it was BEYOND AWESOME! It was a much needed break from normal life.My friend Vanessa and I have had these two costumes on our dream list for a while now and we finally felt we should make them!
The costume itself is made out of white stretch sateen and lined! I hand painted all the gold swirls on both costumes and Vanessa did the outlines on hers. I even made the sword but that was another experience all in itself. It looks fine in photos, but overall, not as accurate as I would have wanted. It was my first prop I did 100% by myself, so it's all a learning experience.
All in all, I love the costume and it was fun to be a pretty princess for once! We won an Honorable Mention in the costume contest.
Cornelia: Myself
Euphemia: Vanessa
Costumes made and worn by each of us.

Lumiere Jacquard Paint in Antique bronze (outlines) and bright gold (main design)! It can be found in the fabric paint aisles of most Jo-Ann's!
