Like to thank my friends for borrowing me their telephoto lenses. This one was shot with the 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM.
This was shot for a uni assignment. I'm not good on the streets so I thought i'm better off with animals. I shot about 2,000 + pictures of the snow leopard.
They are an endangered species and this Rusty, she will turn 6 months old today with her other brother. I will show you in the near future, approximately 10 shots or more on this subject. But I wont be putting everything all up here as I think my gallery is a bit messy.
Please request for print using the note function, if highly interested and serious only. Ships to all countries.

First glance tells the viewer this shot was taken by a professional. Many of the compositional elements exist with the eyes being very sharp in focus.
The 70-200/2.8L is a very sharp lens and this is a very good example where it shows it's IQ off... Especially in the fur.
This great clarity is complimented with rich and smooth brokeh.
The fact that it's framed on chopped logs suggest that this shot was not taken in a natural scene, which may detract or add to the image. Exciting and cuteness factors really add to this photo. The shadows casted in the eyes are really flattering, it almost looks like the human equivalent for strong mascara.
Thanks for sharing this image with us, the connotations and beauty of this creature really inspired me to think twice before contributing to factors that could increase their rate of extinction.

OK my membership has run out so I can't comment on the actual critique but, *Tolkienmaster where is the artificial b&w? The background is obviously colour and the leopard has greens in the eyes and a slight magenta in areas of the coat. Nothing is in b&w as far as I can tell? Or am I going crazy?

Aw, so cute! I think the sharpness works really well to bring out the fur detail.

Awww... it`s so cute. Just look at those eyes. I couldn`t resist them. If there was opportunity probably I would squeeze this little guy to no end (and next few days spend in hospital but well... it`s worth
)
