На конкурс/не на конкурс - я сделал работу за короткое время, так много его у меня не было)

У меня есть более-менее нормальный опыт участия в конкурсах.
Этот конкурс был самым плохим)
Если взять те же конкурсы на cgsociety.org, то там уровень работ вдохновляющий, причем люди реально стараются сделать как можно лучше и при этом не страдают особо такой ерундой, как показ своей работы в самый последний срок.
В LJ пришлось высказаться)
Конкурсы для меня в первую очередь - это приятное времяпровождения в кругу интересных личностей. Ну и пополнить портфолио, конечно же)

Разумеется, уровень на cgsociety в разы выше. Это как раз довольно очевидно, ну так там и участники со всего мира собираются.

Был как-то вопрос: что лучше - быть первым на деревне или последним в городе?
Каждый себе выбирает сам.
Но обычно если ты лучше всех, то развиваться некуда и держать лидирующую позицию сложно.
А вот если есть условия и есть действительно те, на кого можно ровняться, то есть стимул расти выше и быть круче.
Это я к чему?
Долой унылые конкурсы со слабым уровнем и закрытыми людьми!
Айда на зарубежные к тем, кто действительно херячик активно и при этом ведет себя достойно!

As usual I create my works at Adobe Photoshop. It's very universal program.
Some time I use a Autodesk Maya for 3d model. For example I did tower in this picture
