More Soul Eater LovingI do enjoy Crona (not sure if I'm spelling the name right, seen many variations). She's so timid yet crazy at the same time.
I considered "doesn't know how to handle this" , but I wanted to kinda keep with the theme of my other posters, with more unsettling text rather than direct referencing of the characters

Can you point to me exactly where it defiantly says he/she's a boy? I know they refer to her/him as one in the English translated Manga/Anime, but I heard that was for convenience's sake and int he original Japanese they make it unclear by using different gendered pronouns.
I don't think it's really important to the character though, so /shrugs

It's.... complicated. Well, everyone refers to him as a boy in the anime
so I just assumed...but I came up with my own little theory, and it's kinda pervy so so brace yourself.
In season one episode seven Maka asks him,"Are you students? I haven't seen you at the academy."
And I'm preeeetty sure they don't let little kids into the academy, so Crona must be Maka's age.so if
Crona were to be a girl,wouldn't her, ummmm, chest have grown at least a little by then?

In regards to Crona's..uh, physical maturity, Maka herself doesn't have much going on in the chest department, and it's very possible Crona's just even more flat chested. Pettanko!
But in the end, if you prefer to believe Crona is a boy, go with it, it's not exactly a story breaking plot point, so whatever you prefer

Crona's gender isn't specified...
In the anime and manga's english translation it was decided to use male pronounces because it's the standard when you have to deal with this kind of doubts.
In japanese there are words to refer to someone which doesn't specify the gender. (for example to say "I" or "me" Crona uses "boku" in the original, which is usually used by males, but mostly in the last years is being used by a lot of females too.)
And if Crona's a girl, her lack of chest could be due to denutrition. (you can see in both anime and manga that Medusa punishes Crona by locking him/her in a dark room for days without food and water).
People can think what they want of Crona, but until Ohkubo will tell the truth (IF he's going to tell) what people says won't be anything else then opinions.
