LINK TO FIRST CHAPTER - [link]I plan on making a scene like this for a chapter coming up after the next: disguised Sophia giving Count Merry a bouquet of flowers ^^
The scene would take place in the cemetery where Merry would be mourning at his wife's grave. I would like him and Sophia to interact like this; both unaware that one wants to kill the other O_O;
I would want Merry to get a good sense of innocence coming from the child to make it even more difficult for him to kill her if he ever found out who she really was ^^
I was gonna make one like this with Mellon and another with Chima, but I ended up drawing Merry in this one. I got another one of Mellon hugging Sophia that I'll scan tomorrow. I have no clue what I would draw for her and Chima, though O_O; I just love her interacting with the bad guys because it shows off their sensitive or soft sides.
Truth be told, the only irredeemable, truly vicious, sadistic, dark antagonists whose hearts can't be touched would be Malakov, Ivan, and Meowsician
Sophia's goodness wormed it's way into the Emcee (in a way) for God's sakes! She's IMMORTAL!!
Love how I drew Merry's face ^^
Once again, the blue shadings are to represent the snowy, wintery style of the story.

Let's see... I have antivillains... Hallo, Beladam, and technically Vlad (first he's a total jerk, then at the end he kinda repents. Somewhat.)
Then we have Specter, Spink, Johnny, Nafter, OH HECKZ ALMOST EVERY DARKSIDER IS ONE OF THE "KILLIN FO NO REASON PEEPZ!
I love writing villains. At first my villains look cliche (Maybella= Miss Killzalot until we find out why, Beladam= Stupid bitter kid who gets kicked, Johnny= WTF!) but after a while, they're so much deeper than that.
For example, Maybella hates her kid, we get that. It's when we wonder why that makes it stick out.
(In truth, magical weirdo knocked her up and ran away and she had to work odd jobs and do some hooking until she gets a rich boyfriend. -_- Then she is free to traumatize her mutant future seeing child however she likes.)

--"Hey, mister, are you okay?"
--"Vah...My vife, she died a long time ago. I was just visiting her grave, mourning for her after all these painful years."
--"Oh..." *notices the flowers on the grave* "Did you give her those flowers?"
--*Merry nods sadly, eyes welling with tears*
--"They're pretty."
--*another nod, then Merry bursts into tears*
--"Hey, hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry!"
--"No, it's not you. I...It wasn't her time, vhen she left. She vas too young, much too young."
--*Sophia leaves Merry*
--*Merry sighs and turns to leave*
--"Hey, mister, wait up!"
--*he turns*
--*Sophia runs up to him and hands him the flowers* "I bet your wife would want you to have these, mister. You're always giving her flowers, right? But, since she's dead, she can't give you flowers back. So I'll give you flowers for her!"
--*Merry is stunned (hence this scene)* "I...I don't know vhat to say."
--"My parents always taught me to say 'thank you'. Does that work?"
--*Merry laughs, smiling* "Yes, I suppose it does. Thank you, little one." *He pats her head*
--*Sophia smiles* "You're welcome, Mister."
--"Ah, no," *Merry blushes (possibly)* "Call me Merry."
--"Okay," *Sophia sticks out her hand* "I'm Candell."
--*they shake*
--*Zero is calling Sophia's name in the distance.*
--*Merry and Sophia turn* "Oh, I'd better get going. Bye, Merry. See you later!" *Sophia waves, and runs off*
--*Merry waves at Sophia until she's out of sight, then he smells the flower.* "They smell just like you, darling." he murmurs to the grave. "Did you grow these yourself?" *Merry goes home and tells Andante all about the experience*
The End.
... ._. sorry, that's my intake on this scene. I doubt either of them talk like that....yeah... but this is a touching scene, you know?
