LINK TO SOURTONGUE --> [link]I'm on Skype right now talking about J-horror with ~Zee390 and then I randomly went "Ghosts. Oh yeah. Who is that jerk in my unsubmitted folder that has been rotting there for a while? Uhhhh..... Oh yeah. That guy." and here I am sharing a proper Sourtongue expression sheet.
I'm trying as hard as I could to stretch my style (thanks to a certain Dreamworks film that came out a while ago) and I thought Sourtongue was the perfect experimental item to use for this considering he's a pretty explosive and.... face-ish guy.
This guy is such a cocky bastard of a ghost, I love 'im to spectral bloody bits.
I gave Sourtongue his other eye but made the pupil purple and a tad bigger (and up close, rather spiral-shaped) as a result of the accident that murdered him and sent him to Heaven's basement and Hell's attic (and Earth's sewer). He could tear that eye out and use it as a flashlight, a recorder, and it could become a projector and make him find certain folks, no matter where they are.

His expressions are amazing, haha. I especially love his RAGE face, with the red eyes and everything, and also the one on the bottom, where he's tangled up in the phone cord~

wow your style really is changing. I like these more exaggerated face shapes they help bring out the insanity of your characters, now its head AND eyes shapes that make my eyes melt back into the sockets in awe.

And Edward basically turned into an accidental murderous thief, forced to break into a house with his epic pick-locking skills, then whilst trying to help little bro cuts his whole cheek open, and then when he's just trying to be nice to his dearest he cuts her face too!

The crap that dude goes through, it just KILLS you every time ya watch that film. Then again, I think that's what makes a sympathetic character so great. Of course it works. Make a character that has to go through shit and you instantly fall in love the film because you really want to hug them and be all WAAH SO SAD -sniffles-

I bet deep down Edward was like ".... Really? RIGHT NOW? RIGHT FREAKING NOW?" 
And really, if you give a character a sad or odd backstory (most likely used on villains or anti-heroes) then they are instantly loved because you get a backstage look at how they became who they are as well as you gain a certain spot in your heart for 'em, emotional-wise. ITS GLORIOUS, MAN.

Example? SNAAAAAAAPE. I LOVE HIM. Because he had the worst past ever, he probably had no real close friends ever because he was a double-double agent thing and I mean, probably none of the teachers or anyone really liked him that much because he was a Death Eater at one point and the only proof they had that he was genuinely a good person was Dumbledore's word.
Edward must have been in such a terrible mood afterwards. And being the good and sweet-natured person he is, he wouldn't have realised what actually killed him, because VP just kinda dropped to the ground, and Edward was more like, 'what just happened? Dad? Dad? Dad? Oh no..'

GODDAMN IT, SNAPE! THAT MAN. THAT FREAKING MAN. There can only be one Snape, I swear. He's just such a wonderful character, both inside and out. A part of you just feels awful for the man and there are even folks that can relate to him easily, which is what makes him such a great member of the story; and he's important as hell, too! If not that, then he's a thousand times more memorable than Harry Potter the Perfect would ever really be. Snape was made of pure yessery and the poor man, never mind how bullied he was by that dickwad James, gave his life and freedom to protect his son Harry. THAT is goddamn dedication, dude. The bravest man indeed.

Oh God, I know. And the saddest thing? In the end of the 6th book before Dumbledore dies, Snape finally starts to genuinely care for him and hope he beats Voldemort, then Dumbledore goes, 'oh by the way Snape, Harry has to die!'
Snape: WHAT?! YOU'RE KIDDING ME?! I PROTECTED HIM ALL THIS TIME SO HE CAN DIE? NOOOOOOOOOO!
And james was a dickwad, no matter what they said about him being a wonderful and glorious person.

Not only that, but it leaves the readers like "You killed off our reason for reading this damn series FOR NAUGHT!?" POOR SNAPE. EVEN IN DEATH, HE GOT NO BREAK. -__- He better be living in damn luxury in Heaven with Lily by his side or something, because that man went through too much and lost the love of his life and gave his freedom away for that damn brat Harry. -_______-
