Humans can stand daylight AND darkness. Vampires can't tolerate daylight without bursting into flames.
Humans can go for three weeks without solid food. Vampires can't go for a night without blood; they turn into ravenous beasts (no stamina!).
Humans love life and can be artistic. Eternity sooner or later robs you of any artistic leanings; something about living forever takes away the ability to create.
Humans die; that is our tragedy. Vampires don't and that is theirs.
