These user frames were inspired by my ViStart skins. They really look good with different kinds of Visual Styles. Take note that these will not work on ViStart because it will stay at the bottom.

Readme

1. Extract the files in the package.
2. Download the application Ave's 3D UserPic here [link]
3. Files included:

> Longhorn
> Blue
> Red
> Yellow
> Green
> Violet
> Reloaded
> Glass
> Whistler
> Vienna
> Readme

4. Rename the user frame you want to use to 'frame' and put in the directory of Ave's 3D UserPic. (The folder containing 3duserpic that you downloaded)

5. Run 3duserpic.exe and enjoy!

Ave's 3D UserPic Readme

I. USE ON OWN RISK

You use this application on your own risk; the application dynamically loads itself into explorer.exe (for which you might need elevated rights / running as administrator). Because of this, the smallest mistake in this application will make explorer.exe go down.

Please do not send reports to Microsoft about this, since it's a 3rd party hook that's causing problems.

II. DESCRIPTION

Ave's 3d User Pic changes the static user photo displayed in the start menu into a 3D rotating one, as was demo'd in old longhorn builds (4xxx).

III. HOW?

Launch the application. Relaunch to make the applications dialog to show up from where you will be able to QUIT the application.

The application knows one commandline switch:
-show will always make the dialog show up

Created by Andreas Verhoeven . The resources are created by Microsoft.

V. DISTRIBUTION / LICENSE

You are NOT FREE to distribute this application freely without written approval from the author (Andreas Verhoeven).
