TTYGX = Teen Titans Young Justice CrossoverSo in case you haven't heard, Cartoon Network has pumped out a new show called Young Justice. It's Teen Titans basically, especially since all the members of the team (Aqualad, Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, and Miss Martian so far in the first 2 episodes) are also Titans >.>
Anyway, I was researching the show and someone said their are significant differences between Young Justice and Teen Titans. You know what I said? NO.
The Differences Between Young Justice and Teen Titans
1. Robin is the leader of the Titans, Aqualad is the leader of YG.
2. Batman tells them what missions to go on.
3. The characters are "technically" different.
Which brings me to this new series of drawings I'll be doing. Which the YG kids are different than the TT kids, they're also the same. I'll be drawing the YG characters with their TT counterparts, and if you don't believe that I'm right, I'll give you reason to.
Raven is Superboy's counterpart because they were both created for evil. Now, since I've only seen two episodes of YG, I'm not sure if Superboy was created to destroy the world exactly, but he was born to cause destruction, just like Raven was. Superboy is also immesely powerful, and I get the feeling he'll be the negative one in the group.
Raven is also Aqualad's power counterpart because his powers stem from sorcery. However, I don't feel the need to give them their own drawing.

-.- You do realize that the TT robin is the third robin, not the first. Young Justice and Teen Titans are based on comic books, and with research you can learn Superboy is on TT. Not to mention, Aqualad does get his powers from sorcery, but they are weak. (He is also an original member of the TT)
BB and Kid Flash are on TT, but the KF on TT is the second Kid Flash. Miss Martian and Starfire, are again, both on TT. Then Artemis is just a replacement for Arrowette who couldn't be on the show.

no it many episodes of TT it is hinted robin is Dick Grayson even in the episode with Larry his name is nosyarg kicd which is back words for dick Grayson also in the episode haunted where raven goes into robins mind she sees dick's parents falling to their death worry your not the only person who made this mistake

Actually, I have them like this:
Robin = Robin (Due to the fact that they are both...Robin.)
Miss Martian = Starfire (B'cause they're both aliens.)
Aqualad = Raven ('Cause they're both so...Serious. O.o [Well...so am I...
Superboy = Cyborg (Because they're both...Strong...)
Kid Flash = Beast Boy (They're always joking around.)
Artemis = Terra (I don't know why. Artemis just...Reminds me of Terra.)

I really wish I had time to finish this series. I have a lot of ideas but no time to execute them =/
I aggree with MM/Star and KF/BB, but I'd put Aqualad with Aqualad since they're Aqualads. I don't know why I'd put Cyborg with. I was never big on Cyborg. I've never even drawn him. Artemis and Terra I can see, but I like Artemis xD Terra is a she-devil... I'd probably just hook Artemis up with Speedy since they're essentially the same.
But, you know, MM and BB are both green so they could go together. Raven and MM have similar powers, plus their blue hooded capes. Since Starfire's personality is so much like MM's, she could probably work with Superboy in an alien kind of way.
There are the obvious similarities and the ones that are not so obvious. I'd like to draw them all, but first I'd have to shut myself off from all things that aren't TT or YJ for a few months...

I kinda like Terra. She wasn't really evil, just misguided. (Though you may be referring to the comics...)
Aqualad doesn't really act like Aqualad...But I can see that. And now that I think of it, Speedy and Artemis are practically the same, but Speedy's already in the show as an adult xD
Miss Martian's just versatile like that. xD

I know she was misguided, but god, she pissed me off. I think I cried angry tears watching her torture the Titans once.
I imagine TT Aqualad being like, "You have magic tattoos? Riiight..." And YJ Aqualad would be annoyed.
TT Speedy + Artemis. I think they'd get along better than Red Arrow and Art.

IMHO, Miss Martian is basically a combo of Starfire, Beastboy and Raven. Green, cutsy alien with psychic powers and a purple hood.

I'm noticing an increasing amount of similarities between MM and Raven. That "Hello, Megan!" thing gets so annoying. I wish she had a less lame catchphrase XP

I know, I was surprised at first by the character similarities >n> people are trying to point out distinct differences between the characters, but I still think it's bull. The idea has been used, and it won't be the same if used again. I have to admit, though, Batman was a fantastic touch. -coughbecauseilovehimcough-
The worse one has to be Miss Martian, though. She's like the lovechild between Starfire and Beast Boy

I haven't really heard about Young Justice though I've been seeing images around... hm, I think I'll have to look into it. But I still find this amusing because that is a very big similarity between the two characters
