I know marionettes have been done to death, but the concept sort of just happened during the shoot, but I liked this ending better.
The concept came to me once the strings were cut..I thought to myself..now what? What does the puppet do now that it's alone and free?
It is open to interpretation though.

im being a marionette doll for halloween , and im not sure what to do as far as making the marionette handle or where to place it? i was just going to have it hang on my back but i kinda wanted it suspended over my head but not sure if there is a way to go about doing that without making it strange looking

sometimes, it feels like it's easier just to give up, and be controlled, than it is to have your own mind. but it's not all that fun being locked up with no voice. but having a voice comes with risks: being ridiculed, being ostracized, or even put to death. no wonder she doesn't want to be free, poor puppet.

I love the one where the "puppet" is just sitting there motionless. The expression seems to have a slight morbid tone, but still maintains innocence. I really like it.
