I've always been a fan of those sadistic scenarios where it appears like it's easy to stop the torture, but the torture itself prevents you from doing whatever it is you need to do in order to stop it.

This picture stands out somewhat in the shading department since I used multiple layers of shadows/darkness in order to emphasize some elements. Glad you think it looks good.
