Commission forA comic based on her story: Linda - tables turn on this playful tickler...Linda was what someone would imagine if they thought of the "all american girl next door". Tan, blonde bobbing ponytail, and bright pink bathing suit with denim shorts and a pair of binoculars around her neck.
She walked along the beach, a friendly smile on her face, and a twinkling pair of baby blue eyes hiding behind a pair of $24.00 shades. She had a big beach bag with a bright yellow smily face that announced its femininty by sporting a pink bow on its head.
She was a in a great mood today because it was her birthday, (she'd just turned 29), and was about to spend it the way she had always dreamed of. Sure, her friends had offered to take her out, but she wanted to be alone...well, not entirely alone.
She scoured the beach for him. Then, just as she was about ready to sigh and walk further, she spotted the outline of the figure she'd been waiting for!

I love how you captured the characters personalities soooo perfectly and balanced the mischief with your warm, playfully happy style! As always the expressions are pure perfection and your shadow and light continues to improve, (as if such were even possible!), not to mention the brilliant use of silhouettes and the cool perspectives that one usually only sees in film, but not comics....all in all, it is superb and the PERFECT setting for what is to soon ensue!
