Description
This is my monster for the ABC Monster contest for Feraligatr66 's Contest. I listed the contest below. Each letter is given out to a single deviant and they create an illustration for it. All letters have been given out, but you should defiantly go see the work of the contestants!feraligatr66.deviantart.com/jo…
If you notice I tried to focus on earthy colors with brown and green. I than used complementary colors (the green and red) in order to make it stand out more.
Also, I have the line work for this, which i created by hand, here below. The original copy has the story of this monster, where it comes from and all that you might want to know.
This was drawn by hand (the black line work.) I scanned it onto my computer, and added the words and than added color. This was created using gimp, and is my first truly detailed Digital Art Piece.

Amazing work ! Love the wooden part of the letter and you really managed to make the mushrooms look like a natural part of the creature. The colour is wonderful

But yeah, I just started up! I'm cheating a little bit though. I draw everything by hand, and than scan it into the computer. This way all i have to do is color in the lines. It's cheating I guess, but its a start!
