Okay, So i did a turtle a couple years back, and i was looking at it and loved it. I though, how about i do another one. I worked so hard on this piece, and spent hours on getting the the lines in to make up his body. It consided of three different colors, and each line needed the color. I re-re-re-painted the face over and over again, and i still don't like it too much. My mom said she loved it, and i realized maybe i was being overly critical of myself, and if i kept working on it i might only screw it up again. SO finally i came to this. I sold it at an art show, and i almost cried. I grew to love it, not because it is the best piece that i have ever done, but because of after all of that work, and all that effort I realized that i had to let it go. This is the first real piece of art that i had the courage to let someone buy (which is really sad considering that one day i hope to be a working artist...)

Anyway, this was acrylic paint on 16'' x 20'' canvas.
