Description Not a scene from One Million Years B.C. Hominids one million years ago looked nothing like Raquel Welch anyway.

No, this is the druid Jaheira (the one who's winning) and the Shadow Druid Faldorn from the game Baldur's Gate 2, engaged in a ritual battle for control of the grove outside Trademeet (in the game Faldorn sends her animals to attack the town, but is sapping the life from the grove).

Cernd can be made to fight instead of Jaheira, but that's not as much fun, is it? Why is Jae wearing that? Well, the rules are that she can't wear armour during the fight, and I don't want her to just wear the same dress as the other one.

Well, I don't think women really are that 'hawt' when they're fighting for real... although, I know many people do. Thank you for commenting.

Pretty wild girls But yes, Jaheira is sometimes even more dedicated to her goal than Faldorn

I was going to say something about epic slap fights, until I realized that is sorta what bears actually do. They slap, But when they do it, your head comes right of the shoulders. And it was no longer as funny to me.

In game, Faldorn polys into a panther and Jaheira can poly into a bear. You can figure out from there who wins.

I believe Bear vs Lion fights used to be set up sometimes in the Wild West... the Bears always won. Apparently, the Lion's skull is so thin that the Bear just crushes it.

Heads flying off wouldn't be that funny... unless... no, its not funny at all.

To be honest, I kind of feel sorry for Faldorn right now, even though she's fanatic. I thought would be an 'exciting' image, but then I went and gave her that scared expression. She knows she's losing the fight, but she can't just yield because those are the rules. And it is a fight to the death. Sure, she caused the deaths of lots of other people, but still it seems a bit inhumane, although I guess that wouldn't have mattered to her before.

I guess I'll just cheer myself up by imagining Tenya knocking out Eldoth or Edwin again.

I have little pity for someone who is fanatical to "nature" and doesn't understand that civilizations, societies, and severe alterations of landscapes to fit a species' needs are not traits specific to humans.

No, but I think pity is a uniquely human trait. I guess I'd just feel better if they put her down more quickly.

It is tragic, as they should be allies of the same faith, but dogma gets in the way, just like most of human history.

Awesome job. (Looks forward to binding Jaheira's wounds).

Was there a waterfall in the grove? Maybe all the ladies should take advantage of it.

I think Jaheira will probably leave binding her wounds to herself or Aerie though.

There is a sacred pool.

True about the wounds, it's too early in the story for my Bard to get that kind of trust.

Yeah, you don't want to come on too strong with her.

In fact, best to be patient until she decides to come on to you.

Wohoo! Jaheira looks lovely - Cou, gimme Khalid, please, he'd certainly enjoy seeing her like that - and it's a scene I love!

Coutelier In reply to Zireael07 [2011-06-30 17:20:14 +0000 UTC]

I'm sure he would; he'd be worrying himself silly at first, but once he starts to see that young Faldorn is really no match for Jaheira he'll be able to enjoy the spectacle with everyone else.

I'm sure I'll get to attempting to do one of Khalid.

Great scene
Some nasty wounds and those predator teeth

As druids they can shapeshift into various types of animal, so I guess we're seeing them mid-change. Or maybe they can control the extent of the transformation, so they just just sprout teeth, claws, a tail and Jaheira doesn't lose her bra.

OakEgg In reply to Coutelier [2011-06-30 17:53:45 +0000 UTC]

Yes I know that, as there are druids in WoW too.
I think that you're right, they can only change half, so Jaheira don't lose her bra
