Sid's been boxing since she was 16 as a means to (theoretically) protect herself from Paolo. She goes to the gym down the street from Ferdie's everyday during her lunch break. It certainly helps get out pent up frustration from the morning's patrons and just life in general.

Worked on this piece yesterday and today. Started out as a teeney tiny doodle on a post-it. Did all the sketch and line work traditionally over a light box (it just got shipped down from WA. ) with Tombows and my Pentel Brush Pen.

Title is from a quote by boxer, Sonny Liston: "My punches are just as hard in Chicago as in New York."
