Round 2 "THE TRIAL OF STRENGTH" of #PKMN-Battle-Frontier
Picture 1/5 - Challanging the Blizzard

Sooo, I made it into Round 2 8D
And I already finished the first picture for Round 2 *_*

I had to start over drawing it because I missunderstood the rules for the first picture (though it was my fault for reading to fast u.u)

So, enjoy my first entry to this awesome Round 8D

Oh, and a big thanks *Kuroshii who is so kind to write a little storyline for this *__* (I just hope this is allowed u.u)

"When Cowslip heard what the first task in the tournament was, her mouth went dry. Searching for beacons in a blizzard wasn't something she had expected. Great. Simply great.

Despite this tournament taking place in Snowpoint City, she hadn't brought any winter clothes. She had expected this to take place in the nice, warm Dome the information sheets mentioned. Obviously, she was wrong. Now she had to come up with something to survive the unyielding snow storm. Fast.

Finding her way through the storm wasn't a problem. Her Delibird would sure lead her the way through the snow, it was an ICE Pokémon and a DELIVERING bird after all. It surely wouldn't have any problems in a blizzard.

What actually WAS a problem was how to get through the snow without freezing to death. Cowslip thought for a while, sighed, and slaped herself mentally for not bringing any warm clothes. How stupid had she been? Now she would have to sacrifice her contest kimono for this. Hopefully she was able to wash it somewhere when she returned.

So she put on her kimono over her normal clother - layering would probably keep her a bit more warm - and went out to get herself one of that beacons!

Her initial ambition changed into chattering teeth when she set her first steps into the snow of Route 217. There was no way she would survive this alone, as she could barely see her Delibird in the firece storm. But Cowslip wouldn't be Cowslip if she gave up now!

And then an idea hit her really hard! Her Gallade! It was fast and tough enough to carry her through the storm. So she let the Pokémon out of it's ball and also summoned her Chinchou so it could sit on Delibirds head to light the way. Even though Chinchou wasn't very happy about this, this was just perfect! If she now wasn't able to find one of those beacons, noone could."
