Another simple hand-inked sketch for test coloring in Photoshop. I tested a slightly different combination of techniques for scanning, preparation and coloring and I'm actually pretty happy with the result. The whole process, from blank piece of paper to colored lovable Sheldon, took about 40 minutes.Sheldon winds up being a good test subject because of his flesh tone, and the color of his sweatshirt shows off any "jaggies" and stray white pixels.

He the guy who voices Raiden from Metal Gear Solid, Axle from Kingdom Hearts, and Iruka Sensei from Naruto. Now that I think about it Sheldon was an espionage agent just like Raiden, can you imagine adult Sheldon with a deep sexy voice like Raiden? Jenny would so totally be all over Sheldonβs balls in no time.
