Stamps?  Couple of things you need: a stamp template (I used www.deviantart.com/art/Stamp-t… ) and some kind of image.  Basically, take a screenshot of the character, open up an art program, shrink down the image, and place the stamp template over the image.  Then save it as a png file (so the edges are transparent)

If you want to do an animated one like I did, I am VERY sure that there is a better way to do it though, so sorry if I can't be of much help.  

I used www.ezimba.com/index-ln.html and under Mix, I used Frame Animation.  I went to the anime and took a screenshot of every single moment then resize them.  For my Meta Knight stamp, I only had to do 6 frames though, so it was not a lot of work.
