How did you think Freebirds stacked up against the rest of the series? It totally blew it all out of the water IMO

Hmmm that's hard to say. I think it's definitely one of my favorites, and it definitely had some amazing moments in it. In my personal opinion it's one probably of the best of this season(although we're not very far into the season, so who knows? There might be an even better one down the line.) But yeah I wasn't expecting much when I first read the synopsis, and it ended up REALLY surprising me.

I adore just about everything about it except the kinda out of nowhere fix-it by the end (like I didn't want her stuck that way but they could have come up with something a LITTLE less contrived) The song is GREAT, the designs are GREAT, the emotions hit harder than the rest of the series in my opinion, and it managed to get me on the RapsCass bandwagon, which is impressive as I was avoiding it for a long time because of the little issue called cannon ship that is pretty franchise-defining. 

Oh I also feel like Eugene really got the shaft at the end, since he didn't really react to Rapunzle's situation in any meaningful way :-/

I get what ya mean. But the rest of the episode was good enough to overlook the quick-fix plot device they used at the end.

And I think the reason Eugene didn't react might have to do with the fact that maybe he didn't KNOW Rapunzel used the last egg on Cass? I don't remember exactly what was happening in that scene, but I think I recall him, lance, and Hook Foot being caught up restraining the two baddies, so perhaps he just wasn't aware Rapunzel was "stuck" and therefore had no reason to react.

Hm, gosh I really wish I had the time to write a extended version where everyone else had the chance to react. Maybe I will anyway XD Always need a break from art coms at some point.

Hm yeah maybe, Cass seemed like she's be very very noticeable though, what with her almost skewering someone. 



I'd buy a print if one was available It's adorable.

As for the print, i'd like to, but alas, it doesn't give me the option ( plus i dunno how to sell fanart without violating DA's rules). But I am happy to know you like the picture that much! ;u;
