The landscape is amazing. I really like the rock formation here, it's really interesting how it formed.

You always have such nifty pictures! Did you actually get up close to this formation?

Sorry this is late! Actually, I was across a whole canyon, lol! I used the zoom to near-max to get it, and was surprised it came out so clear. Given I didn't use a tripod, I think the harsh lighting had something to do with it. So glad you like it!

And thaaaanks!

Oh wow that's a great shot at that distance! Very nice!

I don't even think I could capture anything even close to clear/recognizable at that distance. It would look more like one of those shoddy UFO sighting photos.

Heee, UFOs! Dude, that reminds me. It would be so awesome to capture a UFO. Never happen, but it would be! <3

Yeah, I'm random today, haha.

Sure would be neat! It looks awesome, I bet you wanted a closer look to check out the openings in closer detail.

Your shot reminds me of the Queen and King Seat, where I live. Well more of the height that they are taken from.

Oh that picture is gorgeous! Did you take that? You should put it in your gallery. ^^

I seriously love it, though. I miss the east coast, they had the best trees in the fall. The ones around here are mostly evergreen, but I hear they change nicely in some parts. Not like the east coast, though.

Oh I wanted to look at it more closely, but it's not too practical, haha! Still, it's an amazing landscape.

If I had taken it, I would surely had submitted something as neat as that heh. I found it on Google images.

I don't know how took it, but I've been there many times. They say that the armies used it as a lookout post during the Civil War.

You're right about the leaves, that's what I like about fall, they become very vibrant.

I'll take a few shots of Queen and King when I get the time, that way you can see more parts of it.

Ah, google is awesome that way!

Very pretty lookout--and fascinating! Someday, I want to head back that way, if only for another glance. I miss stuff like that. They have history here as well, but I found that section of the US a lot more interesting, historically. ^^

That would be awesome! Do take photos.

It can be, but this year seems more tamed than the others. Still I'm not going to use that as a excuse to slack off.
