Description
One last upload for now:Casey the South West Trains/South Western Railway Class 458/5 (508)
Casey was built in 1999 and entered service in 2000, under South West Trains.
Due to massively low reliability, she was withdrawn in 2006, but went back into service in 2007.
She was heavily refurbished in 2014, and rebuilt to her current construction.
She was withdrawn again in early 2019, due to new teething issues that no one wanted to fix. They almost sold her for spare parts, but Sodor Railways bit higher, and eventually won the auction.
She was towed to Sodor by Hammer the Class 66 and was fixed, as well as given a refresh, new interior, the Sodor Railways livery, as well as given a pantograph, to run on OHLE. She re-entered service on August 6th 2019.
She runs stopping services, due to her lower topspeed, after the 2014 rebuilt.
She was given a refresh in 2023, to make her more up to standard, like a new livery and a better PRM-TSI toilet and area.
