Description
Next update: Juniper!Juniper the ScotRail Class 334 (001)
Juniper was built in 2000 for the then franchise Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, later ScotRail, to run on the North Clyde line.
Due to her in 2019 ongoing despute with the then brand new 385s, Juniper went on strike and was stored on a siding until further notice.
While her stay was short, she did become friends with Scott the 385/1. Scott told her, that he and a 380 would be going to Sodor, as ScotRail hated him, for being open and kind. She decided to follow them.
Upon arrival, she was modified with minor seating changes, and a new livery.
After the reformation of Sodor Railways fleets in 2020, She was transfered to the Branchline fleet, and upon doing so, she was modified to have a Dellner coupler, instead of a tightlocker, so she could operate with Casey the 458/5, to make 8 car trains, should it become neccesary.
In 2023, after over 20 years of service, she was finally sent to refurbishment, to be fitted with new seats, new LED head- and taillights, new LCD info screen in saloons and vestibules, a better PRM-TSI toilet and area, a bike area on the opposite side of the vestibule of where the PRM-TSI is, better Wi-Fi, LED interior lighting and a modifed Branchline Fleet livery.
