The painful expression drawn so good! I love the colors and texture behind the screaming man.
And that little tears is a nice touch!

Thank you! The background was improvised: I started with black followed by yellow ochre. Then a little bit blue and violet...I didn't knew exactly what it will look like but it worked all in all

Looks like experimenting is the best way to find the good colors that we want.

Gee, great surrealistic inspired work, Christian.
Once again, the idea is wonderful.. Β And the realisation can't be improved!
So, congrats, my friend!

Very strong and intense work. I like how she Β is attracted to pain without knowing it will consume her Β and engulf her. Β  Well planned and executed work.Β

Drawing faces with an intense expression is much more fun than usual portraits with neutral faces. Thank you!

Thank you! It's fascinating while you draw an expression- when you are drawing a smiling face you have to smile too and while you are drawing a sad face you got in a melancholic mood. Like a sympathy for the art

thomas-michael-art In reply to CpointSpoint [2015-03-11 20:12:26 +0000 UTC]

I find that too! But sometimes, when I get an expression "just right" I smile ... even if it's a sad face.

i see great strength and dignity in the woman, as though she carries these things with her, perhaps she is his savior and end to his suffering. Β i see hope!! GREAT JOB!! Love it.
