Thank you, Linda! First as i finished the work i wasn't satisfied with- the sky was just black and it looked boring. Then i washed out the most of the black colour and added the white spots and this art has been saved from the paper shredder
Somedays you are better than on others- if i have a bad day with doing art because i mess everything up i make a break for a while- a few days can be enough...but presently i have too much ideas!

Yes I've done the same Chris, a break is the way to go, never the paper shredder! Besides, what you may hate now, a year from now you may love!

Yes -- good choice. The colors come together in the eye to make "black" while lending interest and depth to his suit, and standing out from the background which actually is black.

Pastel chalk is nice to use but very bright- so if you want to paint a dark knight you have to be patient
