When the helmet turned on, it got to work quickly, rewiring Lillie's mind to mold her into a true Rocket admin. In a matter of seconds, the machine had eroded the personality traits that had defind its wearer. Once its cycle finished, both the helmet and her restraints were removed. There would be no need to restrain a loyal team member, after all.
"State your name and position," the operator ordered.
"Team Rocket Admin Lillie," she proudly replied.
"Your assignment right now is to prove your loyalty and 'take care' of this one."
The order was just vague enough to leave Lillie with a decision. How she would take care of Selene was up to her.
"Hey, come on, Lillie," Selene tried to reason through a shaky voice, "we're friends, right? You aren't really planning to hurt me, right?"
"'Friends'? I'm sure you see me as your friend right now. I think I should update that. As of now, you're my..."
How does this new Lillie view Selene? How will she "take care" of her? And what will be the answer to Selene's question?
