Mulan is the chineese counterpart to Aquiles, one is a woman disguised as a man to enter the war and the other is a man disguised as a woman to avoid war.

Yeah. And when Mulan decided to take her father's place to join the service so that he doesn't get killed or injured or anything, it very much shows how women need the respect that they should have.
