The Koopalings were supposed to be in Super Princess Peach, but were taken out. Their unused sprites were found on Spriters Resource and I colored based off thoseKoopas (c) Nintendo

It would've made a lot more sense to have them in the game instead of putting in what I think are rejects in the game as bosses.

I agree because why shouldn't they return if several enemies from classic (the koopalings are classic bosses) are returning, why not these guys as appose to modern bosses? The sprite sheets were complete, they looked nice, and they were ready to go but then some guy thought it would be a good idea to remove them from the game. Here are my thoughts on the newer bosses:
Petey:Nothing wrong, just doesn't fit the game
Hoo:Looks like a crappy boss from a rejected Kirby game.
King Boo: Why the @#$% is he crying? He is supposed to be evil, NOT a crybaby. T_T
Wiggler: Should be a normal enemy.
Gooper Blooper: You have to hit his mouth despite his sprite being the the background? Wtf? :s
Blizzaurus: Who the hell is that fairy? >
Giant Magikoopa: Why does his head spin but not his body? HE'S POSSESSED! KILL HIM WITH HOLY WATER!

I don't know anything about them to be honest with you. I guess they are just mutated Toads or something of that nature. Anyways, what are your thoughts on these Koopalings being removed from the game and Nintendo decides to bring in new bosses. (King Boo:Now with whining and crying action! Seriously Nintendo?)

as long as they have different boss battle styles for once, yes. (It actually looks like they would have had good boss battles as apposed to recycling boss battles from mario 3. shame on nintendo for not using more of their potential)

I have seen their sprites for the prototype version of the game, but it's kind of sad TOSE decided to take them out, and the game would have been cooler if those Koopalings were featured in the final version of it. T_T

Well, TOSE created Super Princess Peach (Nintendo published it). Unfortunately there isn't going to be a sequel to that game, just like there were a lot of rumors that there would be a remake of Super Mario RPG to be ported onto the Game Boy Advance and/or Nintendo DS, which unfortunately was never going to happen.

I do think the sequal should be developed by Good Feel, the creators or Wario Land: Shake It and Kirby's Epic Yarn.

Well, just like for the 2007 movie version of Hairspray there was a sequel being planned, but I'm very sad they decided to cancel it. And also there was a game called Donkey Kong Racing that was supposed to be the sequel to N64's Diddy Kong Racing, but the game ended up being canceled after Nintendo decided to sell the rights to Rare to Microsoft Game Studios (which is quite disappointing).

Well, we know SPP is a 2D game, but with the newer 3DS console, all games must be made 3D, so we don't know if there will be a sequel or not.
