Description The first gales of the season whip the Atlantic swell. The sea is no longer a friend. Taken on Clogher Beach, Co. Kerry Ireland.

Finally people are commenting on your amazing art !! .... the first word that come up to my mind on this pic was "Breaking the ice " this sea looks like it's covered by a thick layer of ice and the wild water break it to release the water under this layer of ice ...that's what i feel when i look at this photo ... brilliant

I'm certain my art isn't great but it is always nice to have some feedback You are quite right, it is a very ice like thing, a storm. Especially so when - like this time - the seaweed in the water is whipped into a layer of foamy broth that is all shaken up by the swell... I feel wild and free when i see these storms, like a seabird.. and I wanted this idea to come out of the picture.. so thank you...

ahh.. but we do get the Gulf Stream in the summer so the temp goes up to at least 10C
