First page for collaborative project with ~stephhunt using her character Jack [link] and our character Din [link]Din bringing out his experimental jetpack to a small mesa, with Jack as a guinea pig
Still working on this format; probably first of a two pager.
Dialog to the effect:
Din: here we are, Jackie
Jack: I don't see a plane
Din: Wondering what you'll be flying... My baby engine!
Jack: You forgot to mount it on a plane
Din: Just get over here
Jack: (clapping hands) standing behind you
Din: that was fast... turn around and put out your arms
Jack: Din, what's going through your head?
Din: Now, your a plane
Jack: Huh?
Din: My baby is a self-contained engine. Strap it on and fly... Hold this
Jack: And it is?
Din: Controls for the primary, secondary and tertiary engine
Jack: Sounds straight forward
Din: I know you heard that from Inga
Jack: What did Inga say!?
DIn: That's what the metal plate is for; it's totaly safe now

It's beautiful! I love the layout, and how misty and mysterious the setting looks.

The 'mist' is probably smudging. I usually edit it out, but I could try to keep it (experiment in the clouds?)

It's not smudging, in retrospect it must've been the clouds. But because they're at a higher altitude I interpreted as being misty. My mistake.
