I know I've just opened myself up for all kinds of flaming. Like You're a christian so you shouldn't believe in killing a life.Uh... no.
Actually when they use embryos in stem cell research they get them from fertilization clinics.
Fertilization clinics get a surplus of the mother's ovums in case one doesn't work. Some are implanted in the mother. While the others are stored away. In the storing process some die. If they are not stored they are just simply disposed of in whatever manner they please.
Besides, women lose the ovum every time they have a period.
So why can't researchers use ovums that would otherwise be tossed out or die off of natural causes?
The are also other ways of obtaining stem cells. Like adult stem cells and stem cells created from skin. The last one is something like that. I don't know. Look at the faqs. It'll explain better. Lol. I'm horrible at explaining.

I doubt that. That would mean the development of the artificial womb in process would lead to the mass genocide of females. I think people have use beyond reproducyion. Just them being here and being important to someone is enough. Everyone is important to someone in some way.

Well ofc, I agree wholesomely. But when you say something that is for reproduction, and say it isn't for only reproduction, then point towards animals as a source. Who also kill, rape, and commit incest. I'll stand a lightyear away and watch the shitfest that is the human race.

Bwhahah that is about it. Here there is a new law that says you have to bury or burn when you have a miscarriage. A miscarriage can happen anywhere after conception to 20 weeks or so. After that it's considered a still birth. So Alright after sex I'll just contain all my blood and burn it just to appease the law makers. That is ridiculous. Even if you are married wanting a baby you have to do this.

I myself think that the world would be a better place if the human race stopped procreating altogether, but that's only my opinion. I truly feel that life serves no purpose but I might be wrong. I personally support stem cell research, but only Adult Stem cell research, as for the genetic manipulation involved in creating adult stem cells, we've been manipulating genetics indirectly for centuries, cross breeding types of dogs, crops, cattle... I'm pretty much neutral on that.

I support stem cell research as well. Of course, we can go overboard with it, but isn't that true of everything? Too much of anything is never good, but that doesn't mean we should completely restrict ourselves. Stem cell research can be very beneficial for fighting illnesses and helping people with serious injuries recover. I'm for it. Nice stamp!
