There's nothing quite like a qucik ramble in the Devil's Hole. Always an eager archeologist, Ruth was elated to stumble on the lost trove of Cortez, which included his fabled chamber pot and some beaker belonging to a bloke from Palestine. Unfortunately her and Nessie ran across a local with a questionable taste of interior decorating/diet.Related content

Well now this is certainly a neatly shaded and colored pic here. I rather like the orange and red hues used a lot in this to convey shadow and light. IT goes well with the gore that’s here, and gives off the sense of warmth from the flames behind the character there. It would have been nice to have kept some of the white in the flames, to show that’s the brightest source, but overall it looks rather fine in on itself.
I like how one of the characters is in front of the flame, and they seem to be casting a shadow as well. The blue/purple in the background of the sky over there with the moon is also a nice contrast to the red orange and yellow you use inside the cave. I like how our main focused characters are all their shades with a bit of yellow on them to help convey they’re in front of a light source.
My only gripe would be the character on the ground, which I didn’t really see till now. He seems to blend in a bit with the ground a bit too much, and I feel should also pop like the main characters a bit, or the main characters should be as colored as he is. Maybe have some blues or cool colors in the shadows there to help pop out certain details better, and to help pop the character out as he seems to be not casting a shadow at all.
Overall though this is a rather neat picture. I like how you have a bunch of things going on here, along with the short story in your description. This certainly looks like a twisted little cartoon world, one which the characters have stumbled into.

I've gotta say, I love all the little details in this piece--from the little dude eating the skull to the "I am GOD!" in the background. Every time I look at it I feel like I'm noticing something new! I love the linework--it's done super well!--and all the great colors.
These characters probably have their own story, but I feel like I don't even have to know it in an image like this. And, even without the description, everything feels pretty clear. Their expressions are great and they feel very unique. I have NO idea what Nessie is but I already love her.
My ONLY complaint is a minor one. It's honestly kind of hard to read the menu on the wall. That might have been what you were going for, but I wish I could read it a little easier.
It's also hilarious that they're there for the piss pot and completely ignoring the Holy Grail, haha.
Overall, it makes for a really humorous piece! Albeit it's dark--but that's my type of humor.
