Connor and Sadie were having a gloomy day till a wonderful stranger taught them to play!
Poppy the Pup was his name, and he showed them the wonders of the Shrappy Bake Microwave Oven, and gave the kiddos a cracking slice of Nitro Pie, the tasty treat that's sure to blow your socks off!
Connor and Sadie were never heard from again.

Hi I'm from ! I gotta say: overall, I absolutely LOVE this picture! The idea of a sadistic version of The Cat in the Hat is itself just very amusing to me (considering a do a Creepy-pasta thing based around a sadistic version of Barnie, so I'm biased). I like the concept that this particular entity has the same goal as the Cat: to teach kids fun games. However, unlike the Cat, he has no concern for the children's safety. The title letters are a bit irregular, and I think the scan job is a bit too..shadowy? Blurry? It's a slight thing, but it stands out. I do like the overall composition, with the gleeful children about to open boxes of things that (by the labels) are ominous in their function. The bleeding heads in the background are an excellent touch, and it really adds a bit of comedy to this whole situation. I also like the dead bird, who it seems has died as a result of one of these "silly" games. I also like how we never actually SEE the dog: just his smile. This is an excellent touch, which keeps things ominous while revealing to us, the viewer, only what we need to know. All in all, this would be an EXCELLENT cover for a book or comic book. I really like it, and I ESPECIALLY enjoy the concept.

Thanks! Poppy's one of my favourite creations and I've made it a rule to never show anything more than his hands, eyes, teeth and ears.
