I’ve mentioned in previous illustrations that the Kurosawa Royal Family is known for its meritocratic admissions. Not everyone in Heap follows the Royal Family’s philosophy, and there are people who continue to cling to the outdated belief that one’s worth in society is determined by one’s ancestry and social class. These rich classmates are among these people.

Aisling is not having any of it.

Authors’s Notes:
The names of the rich classmates are, in order of appearance: Varakas (“affluent”), Singiru (신기루, “mirage”), and Kiburi (“pride”). I’m using these characters to try new hairstyles and looks xD.

Also, I’m experimenting with a new shading style that increases the color contrast.
