Description
This is an incomplete piece im working on for my girlfriend. The colours and connotations are intended to convey my emotions for her. If anyone has any suggestions for the contrast or colour in this piece please let me know as i feel something is missing! Thank youRelated content

I like the way the rose is out of frame. I would add a small amount of blur on the rose edges too, and maybe put some more contrast & saturation on it.

This reminds me of a certain movie... "pleasantville" i dont know if you have watched it... but this piece really depicts the essence of color... nice...

ooh i love roses! i love this! i like how the bold bright colour of the red, contrasts with the black and white background. It makes for a very interesting thought about use of colours and black and white (which i have always been intrigues with)

I like the cut frame. I might try to give the rose more dimension, because your background has a greater tonal variation.

Yeh I must agree with that, I've kind of abandoned this now as too much photmanipulation destroyed all the original depth of the rose, and now it just looks flat and boring!
