Hey I've been checking out your gallery a lot recently and you have some godly work. I was just wondering do you ususally base your sketches on photographs? Cause i'm taking some art classes right now and found out that sketching a portrait can be a bitch when you're not looking at a photograph. and i was also wondering if you scan your sketches or take pictures of them when you upload them?

Hi, thanks yeah i always use photographs (mainly because i draw famous people)
i have tried drawing a portrait from life years ago, but it was very difficult, its a completely different skill being able to draw from still life than from a photograph. when it comes to uploading it depends on the size of the artwork, if its A4 then i can scan it, anything bigger i will have to take a photograph as i dont have a big enough scanner. maybee i need to invest in one . thanks for keeping an eye on my art, glad you enjoy it. i have a Jay Z one i am going to upload shortly.
