What a crazy assignment. Went by faster than I thought it would, although I now have a head-ache from it, plus more knowledge of Times Square which I really didn't need.I'm looking forward to now finding all the things wrong with it.
Inking is next.... uhhhh.....
Also, sorry for the scan, I had to scan it 4 ways so it's a bit weird in some places.

It took more like 2 days with lots of breaks in between. It's hard to sit down for a long period of time and draw all the background details. The various dinosaurs took no time at all, thankfully!

So what's the story behind this?

Assignment was to illustrate a 2 page spread of dinosaurs parading down Times Square. When I say parading I mean in an angry fashion. We just needed to 2 inset panels (upper left hand corner in mine) showing people screaming and running, and then a foot of a dinosaur smashing a car. Personally I like the second panel the best. Overall, the point of the assignment was to connect both sides of the spread so that people read it as one whole image.
