I used Daz's Millenium Dragon 2 with Swidhelm's excellent dynamic wings!!!!! They make me want to do dragon pictures with what would have been a badly winged dragon otherwise!!
The clouds were a combination of 4 or 5 different cloud stock (from stock sites - not dA stock) put together. I added the rendered dragons on top and added a motion blur on the wings in Photoshop. (The original Poser motion blur kept refusing to render the blur at a high enough resolution for some reason so I rendered a static instead).

While I was waiting for the simulation for the dynamic wings on my latest dragon, I was going to say you won't have to wait long! 
...Unfortunately, the wings seem to have broken in this pose so I've got some fiddling to fix it first and make a pose I like that isn't broken.

Nope - Poser and Photoshop. I used many different stock photos of clouds to make the sky (although I could get something similar in Vue but I didn't want to bother the rendering times) and the dragons were rendered in Poser. To get the daylight lighting and the high ambient lighting, I used MANY infinite lights on the right hand side on one on the front left.

THIS.MADE.MY.DAY. it's soo awesome!!It is really beautiful, I love how the dragons are snapping their jaws in the air like that.
And I'm so obsessed right now with dragons- I litterally wanted to hug them - of course that wouldn't be the right reaction, hehe-

Maybe I will, but I'm hesitating because it was just for fun and based on the books A song of Ice and Fire- and Martin's not into fanfiction so I don't know. That and it's in french. But if you really want to read it, I can always translate, it's rather short, so it won't be a problem.
