I was feeling cheerful and a wee bit bored today. So I drew Joy.
I just love this little ball of happiness!

Great post of Joy. It's great that you like her as well since she's my favorite.
I'm also with Thagirion here, it's mind boggling that looneys would not only think Joy is the "secret villain" of the film, but they also go out of their way into making some stupid video declaring she is such because she's too "bossy" towards Sadness!

Like I said to Thag, I know she has good intentions for everything she does. She learns from her mistakes and tries to make up for it. Do people not know what character development is anymore?

No problem and I'm glad you agree.
I like to think of Joy as Sun Wukong the Monkey King from the Chinese epic, Journey to the West, who did everything that he could in his power to make sure his master was safe on the journey to spread Buddhism to China.
On the other hand, I see Sadness as Sun Wukong's "master", Xuanzang... Who from what I know, constantly needed to be rescued from demons and generally cried on the way.
That dumb video was also posted in a journal in Emotionalfanclub and it was mentioned by a commenter in Jokerforever's Pixar Villains poll;

Cute. I like Joy. It's a shame she's so misunderstood. She's the main character of the movie and people dare call her the bad guy. She had flaws like all good characters should though.
