One of my favorite and most important episodes. Captain Blackthorne decided to reveal his secret.

"...“Under the circumstances I could not have my real name anymore. Commander Kornely, who became the leader of Ghelite, helped me to get new documents. The real Christian Blackthorne was the only heir to impoverished noble family. He had no relatives, was killed in illegal duel. I took his personality and his spotless record. My look has changed anfter all injuries, no one has recognized me. In this way I joined Kangee-Yon without raising suspicions.”
“And what is your real name then? Do you care to tell us?” Teel narrowed his eyes. Blackthorne remainded silent. Hottenteule looked over Kondakterre`s head – to the portraits of Commander Kowalski and Captain van Oggenberg. Teel abruptly remembered that he met both heroes once, when he was seven years old. Professor Edmund Lovech with Reiko and Vasya went to Parograd to the King`s day festival, and invited Teel to join them. During the Parade, young Hottenteule managed to get to the front row. The boy gazed at Ghelite soldiers with great admiration. The squad was headed by Commander Kowalski, and last came Captain van Oggenberg. The soldiers were warmly greeted by people: they gave them flowers, tried to hug and shake their hands. Ghelite was the symbol of hope for deliverance from the yoke of serpents…
Van Oggenberg stopped right in front of Teel. The boy stared at the legendary Captain with bated breath. Suddenly Ray turned to him, smiled widely and winked. Teel gasped. He couldn`t believe that the glorified hero noticed him, nerdy four-eyes. Ray leaned to Teel and touched his nose with a finger. Hottenteule blushed and smiled back.

The wind picked up and ruffled van Oggenberg`s long hair. Ray laughed and tried to comb it back with his fingers. One strand fell to his face and covered his right eye. Van Oggenberd waved to Teel, spurred his horse and rode on…

...”Oh no…” Hottenteule gulped suddenly and put his hand over his mouth.

“Man, what`s wrong?” Andrjey turned to his friend. Teel was staring at Blackthorne, google-eyed. Then he exhaled and whispered slowly, like trying to find the meaning of each word:

“You said you knew… fallen Captain van Oggenberg… pretty well… And… and now… you still know him… to some extent… Because… because it turns out… Ray van Oggenberg… is still alive… it`s you, right?”

Sasha shrieked faintly and flinched. Yanek arched his brows, perplexed. Andrjey and Nick looked at each other, shocked. Cassiny nodded smiling to his thoughts. Vaseleena remaind calm, just sighed quitly.
“I have noticed that you are very smart, Hottenteule. You will go far, if you not end up dead in battle, of course,” said Blackthorne stone-faced. “The man named Ray van Oggenberg is dead. I killed him. What you see is just a shell looking like him, a bit damaged,” Kondakterre touched his eyepatch. “I am no one but Christian Blackthorne, Kangee-Yon Captain, the highest level Kondakterre. This is all you need to know about me."
