I haven't really watched the episodes more than one time. I always thought they were all okay with individual good and bad points and of course the lessons to be learned intertwined have made all the episodes enjoyable. This episode has made a huge difference to me and I will watch this one over again. First of all, ever since the first season when Applejack first introduced Twilight to the entire Apple family, sans her immediate parents, it brought on huge amounts of different fan based speculations as to where they were, what they were up to, or if they were even still alive. Finally six seasons and five sets of main six parents reveals later we have the most sought after parents of them all. I honestly have been waiting for this for a long time myself as I am a family oriented guy. The Apple family actually reminds me of the Walton family from the '70s TV show called The Waltons about said family. Secondly, yes this made me cry. I haven't cried when watching a TV show or movie since that father-son scene from the movie Click. It was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Thirdly, I have always wanted to know what Pear Butter and Bright Mac looked like beyond the fan speculations and I have not been disappointed. I liked Pear Butter's hair style and her eye color. The song that Pear Butter sang for Bright Mac was very enjoyable to listen to. Only two songs from this entire show have sounded appealing to me and Pear's song is one of them. Fourthly, I like how you've drawn these two. Bright Mac's beard looks cool and original showing a bit of time progression since the time of the episode. And a preggers Pear Butter compliments the look of the time lapse. This was very well done.
