I disagree with you about the color scheme not being badass, but this is a great fucking design, I love it.
I think what I love is that it looks like material that he's wearing, it's not just skintight whatever. Like, it looks like it could act as light armor, which would make sense healing factor or no.

Thanks. this is actually incomplete. I lost everything on my laptop including the psd file. this is just a jpeg i got from a friend who happened to keep it. the tip of his right middle claw was gonna be smouldering which he'd be using to light the cigar
