I made this very quick little sketch as a tribute to the recently-departed Eric Carle, who wrote some of the best loved children's books of all time. You've probably heard of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" at some point in your life.

The one I grew up with was "The Bad-Tempered Ladybird" (or "The Grouchy Ladybug" if you're not British). I still remember most of it even years later, having read it all the time as a kid.
