I can see a thing where Dredd sees Batman as a dangerous vigilante (like every other police officer does) and is always trying to arrest him, kind of like a looney toons bit, except much more graphic and ill suited towards kids.

There was a small series of crossovers between these two a few years back. Their first meeting was classic!

Dredd is part of the system. Batman is not. Batman never arrested anyone, he captures them and sends them over to the police so they can arrest them.

I don't know...in the first story Dredd arrested Bats in like ten seconds. Shot through his cable as swung through the air, knocked him out with his billy club, cuffed him, and took of his mask right there! From then on it was pretty evenly matched. They are the two most DETERMINED heroes around.

He graduated Judge Academy at age 13. If you get a chance, check him out. He's like Dirty Harry...but more strict.

I think Dredd wins for playin' dirty to take the perps down, but Batman wins for just playin' dirty when need be! These two could fight for days!
