Even though my favorite is Blossom because she's both cute and tough, plus the brains, I kinda feel bad for the other girls. From my observations, people like Bubbles and Buttercup more than Blossom.Β

lol it's not really deep, it's basically just:
blossom's character has always been really "perfect"
obviously she's not perfect, but comparing her personality and traits to bubbles and buttercup
they are seen as lesser than their sister.
this is seen a lot in the fandom, and even remarked upon multiple times in the show
so in this illustration Bubbles and Buttercup are weeping together, for they believe that they will never amount to the same importance and beauty as their sister

I can actually Bubs and BC seeing Blossom like this. Probably BC more so because Bubs is the "cute" one as little girls stereotypically are, but shes just the "tough" one and only "usable" in fights.

I see them as equals because you can go both ways with Bubbles being useless because all she is is "cute". She's thought to be weak and powerless and a doormat sometimes, being too nice to do anything for herself; and the same for Cuppo with the toughness. She's disagreeable and rough around the edges, and just all around can be hard to get along with.

I never thought it about it that way :/ I guess that being the "cute" one can be bittersweet due to the stereotype that if you have the face, then you don't have the brains or the muscles. But on the other hand you can use that to your advantage as well. But Bubbles being who she is, I doubt that she would ever do that...
