ah. i seriously need to get that game. i have the DS version, and that... ugh... what they did to the plot was a botch-job if i ever saw it.

They even took away Brio in that version, and he was one of the high-lights of the game.

and the fights against coco and crunch... and uka uka's existence... and N.Gin's existence... and nina's significance, reducing her to just a cameo... and the reason for cortex to say "Where are my pants?'... and about 80-ish% of the story... goddamnit, they borked the hell out of that thing.

And there's no excuse, since of the titans came out a year before and It was great, It even felt like a classic Crash at some points.

which is funny since the handheld skylanders games got their own timeline and continuity. they put in the effort to write entire new stories for those, but couldn't be arsed to let the last handheld crash even have a plot.

i'd say they do a good enough job for what they are. i don't think plot needs to be massively deep and sometimes it's best to just have some fun with it. skylanders does a good job with that.
