Description Β  Β  So I was at college today (yes, I had college) and was on my way to my next class when I stumbled across a small snake next to one of the trash cans outside. I thought it looked adorable so I took a picture of it with my phone. Don't worry, I didn't get too close nor did it attack me.

Probably a young hognose snake. Hognoses are known for dramatic defensive behavior like puffing up or playing dead; they rarely bite and are mostly harmless.
