quick stuff that i made for russian "magic CG" magazineit was an art project "Barrel as a selfportrait" the idea behind was to make a simple barrel look a bit different. it should express yr artistic style and yr own personal view on such a simple object...so my choice was a transforming barrel LOL

I'd be very careful partner. Caterpillar takes their logo being used very seriously. I sure hope you had permission to use it.

Really? well i didn't know this. But in fact lots of modelers here are makin bmw's ferraries and other cars and none of them was thrown into jail. I think they will take it seriously if only it's some commercial stuff. And this one is just for fun...But thanks for the tips anyway.Let's hope this will not be a problem

I hope not, for your sake. It's a cool model, and that's not the issue. But having attended a Caterpillar Brand conference in order to be allowed to use their brand for an offshoot, I do know they are extremely finicky about who uses it and for what purpose.

well it's a problem for me from one hand i'am not an animator and from the other this stuff was made just for the still image and i think it will be a pain to animate all the stuff but thanks for comment anyway
