I'm trying a thing where I do a Pokemon painting about every day or so for a whole year. I'm a little behind because of reasons right now, but I'm getting art done and that's what matters.

So of course, I need to start the challenge off with Bulbasaur. 001 makes an important impression on everyone! I enjoyed playing around with the watercolor brush a bit on this. Still miss my brushes from Photoshop sometimes but my god SAI is otherwise very much superior in a lotta elements.

Next up is Wartortle! I'll be selling a lot of these as button designs or prints at future cons, for the record. BD
