It was suggested to me by that I draw Vitani, and I realized I hadn't drawn Vitani and Kiara fanarts in quite a while. Have I mentioned they're my favorite TLK2 pairing? Yeah, they are. Because the canon pairings in that movie are pretty lame. Even Simba and Nala seemed to have lost their chemistry.So here they are, surrounded by this breathtaking landscape, and they can't keep their eyes off each other.

Wow, absolutely gorgeous! They look so cute. How did you get the rock texture to look like that?
Vitani was definitely my favorite TLK2 character. I wish they would have had more scenes with her. She's so cute, and I love how she has bangs. It seemed like at the very end they just forgot about Vitani, or were too lazy to draw her. You know the scene where Simba brings them all home and they have that little ceremony?
Truth be told, I wasn't very impressed with the sequel. I just expected it to be so much better. The animation seemed half-assed. But then, animated sequels usually are.

Thanks. I got the texture by overlapping a bunch of grunge texture brushes I got from ~redheadstock in different layers styles... mostly multiply and screen.
I loved Vitani too, especially as an adult because she seemed kind of boyish. Plus the voice actor who played her also played one of my favorite characters in Voyager. (I'm such a nerd, lol.)
I agree about TLK2. It had the potential to be as epic as the first film, which doesn't happen very often with Disney sequels. If only they'd not ignored Kopa, and gave better explanation to the Outlanders' exile... not to mention gave Kovu and Kiara a little more depth as characters. And yeah, the animation was sad... but I still like that movie better than 1 1/2.
